Alms & Doepke Building
The Alms and Doepke Dry Goods Company constructed the building at the northeast corner of Main Street and Central Parkway starting in 1878. New expansions were added in 1886, 1890, and 1906. The business operated there until it closed in 1955. The building was purchased by Hamilton County in 1993 and used to house several county departments until 2026, when those offices were relocated to Bond Hill. The building has now been sold to developers who plan to renovate the building and convert it to apartments with an expected completion in early 2028.
