View from Olden View Park

Somehow I've never posted a photo from Olden View Park, which offers a slightly different perspective than Mt. Echo Park.

A few notes for future historians about the point in time captured in this photo:

• Kroger installed their new "fresh cart" logo on the east and west sides of their downtown HQ last summer.
• The Millennium Hotel has been demolished, but construction has not yet begun on the new Convention Center hotel, which has been delayed and downsized from what was previously announced.
• The original "Cincinnati" sign is still visible on the side of the Convention Center, but will be replaced by a new upgraded version as part of the ongoing renovations.
• Construction is still in progress on the exterior of new Sky Central apartment complex, although tenants have started moving in to the lower floors.
• Construction has not yet started on the new Brent Spence "companion" bridge, which will include the partial demolition of Longworth Hall.
• Blake "The Attorney" Maislin's iconic "444-4444" billboards are everywhere.
