My first time working with video was during middle school. I began to work on projects in iMovie with the help of a teacher, who now works full time doing video production work.
I later took the video production class offered by my high school and got to work with more advanced cameras, mics, cranes, and editing software such as Final Cut Express.
At UC, I have taken Studio TV Production, in which students produce a live broadcast using a multi–camera setup, as well as Digital Sight Sound & Motion, which is an introduction to shooting and editing single–camera productions. I also work on several video projects for UC’s Web Communications department.
My work within my major has renewed my interest in video production. I hope to work more in this field both in and outside of school.
